Session 1 – Wednesday, August 19: Virtual Teaching a Step-by-Step Approach

Learn how to create your weekly schedule and develop high-quality lesson plans. Let Lori show you how to work smarter, not harder as a virtual teacher. She will share easy-to-use resources for lessons and teaching resources.

Session 2 – Wednesday, August 26: Building an Online Class Community

How do you connect with students and parents when teaching virtually? What do we know about meeting the social-emotional needs of our learners when teaching online? In this session, you will explore simple, but powerful ways to build a classroom community and support parents as they partner with you on this virtual learning journey. You will also discuss how to tackle equity issues facing schools today.

Session 3 – Wednesday, September 2: Powerful and Fun Virtual Lessons and Tools

Just let us teach! Teachers want to be with students and want to teach! Lori will fill your teaching toolbox with strategies and web tools to make your lessons fun, engaging, and effective. Learn how to include choice and exploration to empower students in their learning. You will find these tips and strategies useful for teaching face-to-face or virtually.
